It's hard to believe the first nine weeks is over and it is almost November!  We have finished our Fall MAP testing and Developmental Reading Assessments.  We have set high goals for the students to reach so we are working diligently in the classroom.  I will be sending your child's goal sheets home very soon.  Please encourage them to read nightly and continue to reinforce the skills we are working on at home.  Report cards went home this week.  A huge thank you to all of the parents who participated in conference day and met with me to discuss your child's progress in second grade!  We will be taking the CogAt test this week and next week.  A letter came home about this in your child's report card.  Please make sure your children are at school on time.  Our Breakfast in the classroom is going well and the students are enjoying this.  Breakfast begins at 7:30 and is over at 8:00 so it is imperative that your child is at school on time to participate in breakfast.  Thanks so much for sharing your children with me!
